Youth Education – Understanding Animal Rights and Welfare
Date Published
The issue of chained dogs reflects broader questions of animal rights and welfare. This session introduces students to the concepts of adoption, pet trade, and responsible ownership, and encourages them to reflect on whether chaining dogs — though legal — is truly ethical. It also explores how animals are treated in industries such as horse racing, zoos, farming, and animal testing.

With Yan Oi Tong Tuen Mun, we explored animal rights and chained dogs with youth.
